Author Guidelines for AJAI and Template

  1. Ethics and Integrity
    • Plagiarism Policy: AJAI strictly prohibits plagiarism. All submissions will undergo a plagiarism check, and the similarity index must not exceed 10%. Authors must ensure originality in their work and appropriately cite all sources.
    • Authorship Criteria:Only individuals who have significantly contributed to the research should be listed as authors. Others who contributed in a minor way may be acknowledged.
    • Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their work.
  2. Manuscript Submission
    • Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English.
    • Format: Submissions must follow the AJAI formatting template. Download the word template from here. The Latex template will be shared on request through email.
    • Length: Manuscripts should exceed 10 pages including references.Otherwise extra APC required.
    • Submission Process: All manuscripts must be submitted online via email at [email protected].
    • Review Process: Submissions will go through a double-blind peer review process to ensure unbiased evaluation.
  3. Article Types
    • Research Articles: Original contributions to the field of AI, typically reporting new methodologies, experiments, or findings.
    • Review Articles: Comprehensive surveys and state-of-the-art reviews on topics relevant to AI.
    • Short Communications: Brief reports or case studies with significant findings.
    • Perspective Articles: Thought-provoking discussions on trends, ethics, and future directions in AI.
  4. Figures, Tables, and Equations
    • Figures: High-quality images should be submitted in PNG, JPEG, or TIFF formats, with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Figures must be numbered and include a descriptive caption.
    • Tables: Tables should be clear and concise, with a title placed above the table. Avoid excessive text within tables.
    • Equations: Use standard mathematical notation. Equations should be numbered consecutively and referenced clearly in the text.
  5. Referencing Style
    • Follow the APA (7th Edition) referencing style.
    • All references must be cited in the text and listed at the end of the manuscript.
  6. Copyright and Licensing
    Authors must agree to the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, allowing for distribution and adaptation with proper attribution. Upon acceptance, authors must transfer copyright to AJAI. Download the copyright form from here.
  7. Article Processing Charges (APC)
    • The APC for AJAI is 3000 INR for Indian Authors. For the first issue, an introductory offer of 2500 INR applies.
    • The APC for AJAI is 75 USD for Foreign Authors. For the first issue, an introductory offer of 65 USD applies.
    • This fee is non-refundable and covers review, editing, and publication.
  8. Ethical Use of Data
    Authors must ensure that all datasets used in the study are ethically obtained and properly cited. For studies involving human participants, ethics committee approval must be provided.
  9. Declaration and Acknowledgments
    Authors must submit a declaration form confirming that the work is original, not published elsewhere, and not under consideration in another journal. Any financial or institutional support should be acknowledged at the end of the manuscript.
  10. Withdrawal Policy
    Authors can request withdrawal before the manuscript enters the review process. After review, withdrawals may incur a penalty to compensate the reviewers' time.
